Caravan

“Caravan,” which will take place during the spring of 2002, is an art show unlike any other. Fourteen immense paintings derived from ancient Armenian manuscript illuminations will tour throughout the state of California, riding on the back of seven 24-foot flatbed trucks. Zadik Zadikian will create twelve of the paintings, and Charles Garabedian will create the other two. Armenia’s cultural identity, a hidden cache of images for centuries, is being taken on the road. Come celebrate.
